So who are we? It is probably better to write who we aren’t. We aren’t journalists just becuase we write blog. We aren’t photographers just because we have camera and make pictures. We aren’t travellers just because we love to travel. We have noticed that recently more and more people use the name traveler, travel journalist, travel photographer, etc. far toooooooo often. It is of course in fashion to be all of this.
During our travels we often met people who land in a country by accident, knowing nothing about its history, customs or people. The scene that stayed in our memory was, when we were hitch-hiking through Armenia. That time we were in our hostel in Yerevan. Through the common kitchen window you could see Mount Ararat. At the table was sitting a guy in his twenties with his laptop looking where to go next (he was making a word trip or sth like this). After a while he asked us if it is worth to go to the Museum and Monument of Armenian Genocide. We looked at him confused. Armenian Genocide and Mount Ararat were one of the major reason we were here at the first place. I don’t remember what we answered. But I’m pretty much sure he missed the cloudless view of Ararat that morning.
So we aren’t people who land in a country by accident, not till now at least. We don’t collect destinations, we choose them.
We didn’t quit our jobs to travel, we didn’t sell the flat (even if we would have one 😉 ), we didn’t burn bridges behind us and call ourselves citizens of the world. We studied, we work, we rent a flat, we have normal lives. We are YOU. And we share with you how to keep your normal life and still manage to travel. That’s why we would like to invite all of you to send us ( firstname.lastname@example.org ) your travel journals, articles, pictures, tips, etc. The most helpfull we will publish under your name in GUEST category. Create this page with us!
