Where to stay with kids in Bangkok: At Residence Suvarnabhumi
At Residence Suvarnabhumi is where we spent one night between our flight from Kho Samui to Bangkok and and the one from Bangkok back to Germany. Extremely helpful was that the hotel offered small packages of all necessary cosmetics, toothbrushes, toothpastes, tea and coffee etc. Thanks to this there was no need for us to unpack for one night. We could just rest after the arrival and the next morning leave for Germany.

Location: The distance of just 3 ½ km from the airport combined with the high standard and good price makes this hotel a perfect place for transfer. A shuttle service between the hotel and airport is provided and takes only 5-10 min. Although being so close to the airport and also close to a main street, you won’t notice any of that once you enter the hotel. This is such a beautiful, nice, hidden gem. Apart from the shuttle service to the airport there is also a link to the city, which is 15km away.
Hotel: The hotel, the interior and open spaces look beautiful, clean, and well maintained. You will feel immediately welcomed here, which is also due to the friendly staff, who will help you wherever they can. At Residence offers lots of amenities: A restaurant, a bar, washer/dryer, a gym and even an outside pool, including a small area for non-swimmers.
Rooms: Apart from regular hotel rooms, At Residence also has an area with many small houses that you can stay in. These are so beautiful and you can rent the whole one just for you. You will find everything in these houses, a big bed, kitchen and bathroom. They even have an upper level with another bed to sleep in. Especially when you travel with kids, the villa is perfect to get some rest. Our room was absolutely clean and taken care of. A broken telephone was repaired within minutes.
Price: For the villa we payed 50€ the night, which is really not much when you consider what you’re being offered. Yes, most stuff cost extra, like the shuttle service. But remember the close distance to the airport, the cleanliness, the service, the amenities and the beautiful rooms / houses.
